This immersive watercolor workshop invites artists to explore light as the guiding force of painting. Internationally celebrated as the “sunny watercolorist,” Michael Solovyev is known for luminous transparent works that seem to radiate light from within. Drawing on his academic training and experience as a theater stage designer, Michael teaches students to see light with greater sensitivity while embracing watercolor as a living partnership between artist and water.

Through demonstrations and guided practice, participants will explore transparency atmosphere composition and expressive technique. Michael’s workshops are known for their inspiring energy and thoughtful instruction helping artists develop confidence experimentation and a deeper understanding of the creative process.
