Igli Arapi began his artistic journey by graduating from the Jordan Misja Art School in Tirana. He later moved to Italy, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2002. Over the course of his thirty-year career, Igli Arapi has developed an artistic practice primarily focused on painting, with a particular predilection for landscapes, portraits, and the human figure.
His technique ranges from oil to watercolor, with an approach that alternates between working en plein air and in the studio. His works reflect an interest in nature and the surrounding environment, often captured during outdoor painting sessions in various locations, including Germany, Italy, Albania, and the Netherlands.
In addition to his creative work, Igli Arapi is dedicated to teaching painting techniques, sharing his passion and expertise with those who share his love of art. Over the years he has received recognition for his artistic commitment and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, consolidating his presence in the contemporary art scene.
